Wie wil filmen op locatie in Gent wordt optimaal begeleid door het Ghent Filmoffice. Wij begeleiden uw zoektocht naar specifieke locaties en helpen u bij uw aanvraag voor de nodige vergunningen.

Wij zorgen voor de administratieve behandeling van uw aanvraag en geven u advies omtrent het interne netwerk van andere betrokken diensten.

Wij bezorgen u logistieke ondersteuning en voor financiële ondersteuning kan het Ghent Filmoffice een intermediaire functie hebben tussen de aanvrager en het Stadsmarketingfonds.

For international filmmakers:

The Ghent Film Office guides you through your search for specific film locations and takes care of all permits. The Ghent Film Office is part of the Festivities Department Ghent.
The Ghent Film Office helps you with the administration and asks in the internal network like the Police Department, the Fire Department, etc.
When the information is complete, the Mayor can give the permission to shoot the film.
The Ghent Film Office can also give logistic support by lending all types of material (platform, barriers, dance floors, stairs, banners, etc...).
As for financial sustaining, the Ghent Film Office can play an intermediate role between the applicant and the city Marketing Fund.
