Ghent University
The UGent International Relations Office is responsible for the support and follow-up of international relations and student mobility. The IRO Student Support is part of the International Relations Office.
The IRO Student Support team gives new international students a warm welcome and assists them before and at arrival to find their way around at Ghent University. The team provides information and support, paying attention to the specific needs of international students. The exchange student adviser is available for specific matters related to exchange students; the international students adviser is available for other international students and PhD  students.  A desk for general enquiries is available in the afternoon.
The IRO Student Support also helps UGent students to find their way abroad to international universities as an exchange student or as an international student. Specific advisers are available: for students who want to participate in an exchange project, as well as for students who intend to study abroad.
